One of the North End’s most successful restaurateurs, Cav. Filippo Frattaroli recently celebrated his 60th birthday amongst his family, friends, and dignitaries.
Guests were treated to a lavish dinner and authentic appetizers from Italy’s Abruzzo region, where Frattaroli hails from.
Giuseppe Pastorelli, the Consul General of Italy in Boston made a few remarks about Filippo and his title of Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia (Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy).
Among his many friends, dignitaries stopped in to wish Filippo a Happy Birthday. District One Boston City Councilor Sal LaMattina presented an Official City of Boston Resolution along with Councilor Michelle Wu. State Representative Aaron Michlewitz , State Senator Anthony Pettrucelli, and gubernatorial candidate Charlie Baker stopped by as well.
Filippo’s son Philip and daughter Jessica gave a touching speech about their father and Philip presented him with a portrait of his Dad made of pasta.
