Appian Club presents Music Theory

music-notes-background-bickstock-photo3-1The term music theory intimidates people but learning the basics of music theory is easier than one thinks and it is very helpful. Understanding music theory before students start lessons on their chosen instruments definitely facilitates the process of learning the instrument. Pick up the basics of music theory and you can apply it immediately to any instrument, not just the keyboard family.

Music Theory with Keyboard in Mind will be offered at the Appian Club and will be designed for students of all ages – if you can read a book, you can qualify for this course. The class will meet once a week for a period of 6 – 8 weeks and the cost is only $50.

The objective of the course is to teach the students the basics of the language of music in a concise and practical manner. The course will be taught by Rocco Scenna and Carmen D’Angelo and will begin in late March.
