Pirandello Lyceum President Rosario Cascio has announced this year’s recipients of the “I Migliori in Mens et Gesta” Awards, the Best in Mind and Deeds.
The Pirandello has recognized a group of outstanding Americans of Italian descent who have made important and significant contributions to their profession, society and to the Italian American community. The following are this year’s recipients:
- Alexander A. Bove, Jr. Esq. — Law
- Representative Paul J. Donato — Public Service
- Frank Fredella — Business Entrepreneur
- Michael Gaetano — Executive Management
- Rita Sorrento — Education
- Domenico Susi — Business and Philanthropy
- Rodolfo Viscomi — Community Service
- President’s Award: Simon Ho — Education
This annual ceremony and awards dinner is the highlight of the Pirandello Lyceum’s
calendar of events.
The Pirandello invites you to join them in honoring the award recipients at the 27th annual “I Migliori” awards dinner to be held on Saturday evening, March 31. Details are as follows:

Music for the evening will be provided by Frank Zarba. The master of ceremonies for the evening will be Kevin Galie, M.M., J.D., Arts Director of the Coro-Dante.
Dinner tickets are $65.00 per person. Proceeds from the banquet benefit the Pirandello’s scholarship fund which last year provided six scholarships to college-bound students continuing the pursuit of Italian language or culture.
