Winchester-based artist Lucia Bellotti recently brought to life her new concept “Van Vogue,” combining pictorial art and fashion.
Alongside her artistic partner Gabriella Ruggieri, Bellotti displayed several paintings featuring models and Vogue magazine covers at Runway Couture Boutique in Winchester. Real life models were also present at the event, showing off dresses captured on canvas by the native of Bari, Puglia.
“We are currently working on the second edition of Van Vogue, to be held this summer at Martha’s Vineyard,” says Bellotti.
The exhibition’s name, she likes to point out, was an idea of her husband, drummer and Berklee College of Music professor Sergio Bellotti.
