“Scanzonati” is the new project that once again brings together jazz singer Stefano Marchese and Berklee Faculty Andrea Pejrolo. Expressing the deep love the two musicians have for the widely known “canzone” form, the project also represents an incredibly rich and precious age of the Italian music made of well-written music infused with lyrical finesse.

Gino Paoli, Angelo Branduardi, Fiorella Mannoia, Pino Daniele and Domenico Modugno are only some of the most renowned and prestigious artists that the project will pay the tribute to. Combining the charming and soulful Marchese’s voice with Pejrolo’s talent and creativity in discovering new sounds and atmospheres, the audience will assist to a real innovation and unique concert.

Allegro is a concert series organized by the Sounds of Italy Festival, in collaboration with I AM Books, with the support of NEMPAC, and under the auspices of the Italian Consulate General in Boston.
