Filippo’s Ristorante Cooking Demonstration

Filippo’s Ristorante in Boston’s North End welcomed Alberto Diplacido from Sulmona (Abruzzo), Italy. Alberto prepared a four course meal for guests who were encouraged to participate in the cooking process.

His style of cooking is a blend of old-fashion with modern techniques; sharing some of his culinary secrets, he joked that his grandmother would probably be upset with him for altering recipes.

However, as you will see in photos, the guests enjoyed his cooking!

If you want to catch Alberto’s other talents, check out Italian Music Night at Filippo’s where he will host a night of Italian karaoke.
