The WEP-USA will be hosting 11 Italian high school students in Worcester, MA in July. The students come from different cities in Italy. They are coming to Massachusetts for a three-week leadership program. In order for the students to gain a real glimpse into American life, they will be placed with a local host family. During the week, the students will be at a camp-like leadership program, which lasts roughly 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The program is hosted by a Massachusetts teacher. The program teaches English to non-English speakers, provides workshops on US politics and government, and includes fun trips to downtown Boston and other attractions.

This is a great experience for families because it provides a learning experience for those who are unfamiliar with Italian culture; it also provides the host and the students with an unforgettable experience.
