East Boston Chamber of Commerce Prosperity Awards

The Award Ceremony was held at the Hyatt Boston Harborside Hotel at Logan Airport. Mistress of Ceremony was Eastie’s own News Anchor Cheryl Fiandaca.

Cheryl Fiandaca joined WHDH-TV as an Investigative Reporter in January, 2014. An award-winning broadcast journalist. Cheryl is an East Boston native who grew up in a big Italian family with six brothers and sisters. A graduate of Suffolk University, Cheryl later went on to receive a J.D. from New England School of Law.

Fellow East Bostoniano Lou Imbriano was the guest speaker. Lou Imbriano serves as President and CEO of TrinityOne, a marketing strategy and business advisory consultancy that works with organizations to turn around their marketing efforts and increase profitability through building stronger consumer ties and a more trustworthy brand. Formerly the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium for nine seasons and Chief Operating Officer for the New England Revolution for three seasons, Imbriano built powerful relationships that allowed the organization to achieve an increase in revenue by more than 600%.

The event will become a signature Chamber gathering each year to honor businesspeople in the East Boston community.

Lisa is an East Boston resident who works in the area of media and public relations. She is President of Italia Unita Inc. of Massachusetts, a non-profit organization that promotes Italian culture and heritage. Lisa worked and volunteered in the areas of public relations, community development, film, politics, and radio. Through Italia Unita, Lisa initiated the grass roots effort to have Comcast Cable add RAI television, which is now available as a premium channel. Lisa is the president of Boston Concepts, a full service marketing and public relations agency.
