Guido Anselmi (Marcello Mastroianni) is a director whose personal and professional life is collapsing around him. An early working title for the film was La Bella Confusione (The Beautiful Confusion), and Fellini’s masterpiece is exactly that: a fantasy, a spectacle, and a glittering magic act. Brookline Rotary hosts group of young professionals from Italy

From May 19-22, the Brookline Rotary Club hosted a team of young professionals from Venice, Italy, as part of a Rotary International Exchange Program. Five professionals from the Venice area stayed with members of the Brookline Rotary Club, learning about American lifestyle and culture and meeting with their professional counterparts. At the weekly meeting of Brookline Rotary, the Italian guests talked about themselves, their careers and their Rotary clubs in Italy, and were welcomed to the Boston area by Signor Domenico Savio Teker, director of the education office at the Italian Consulate in Boston and a resident of Brookline. Over the past month, a new wine friend of mine, Jo-Ann Ross of JRoss Wine, invited me to a “Sensational Soave” Master class held at Ribelle in Brookline, Massachusetts.
