Remembering Coach Dom Campochiaro of the North End


In December, the Post-Gazette and the Regional Review both wrote in remembrance of Joseph “Dom” Campochiaro, who passed away on December 8 of 2014. I would like to add a few words here as well. UMass Amherst’s Angela McMahon Named Head Coach of Italian National Lacrosse Team


The Italian Lacrosse Association has named women’s lacrosse head coach Angela McMahon as head coach of the first-ever Italian national team, which will compete in the 2017 FIL World Cup in Guildford, England. Justin Serpone, who is McMahon’s husband and the men’s soccer coach at Amherst College, will serve as co-head coach of the team. McMahon, who will continue to serve as head coach for the Minutewomen, is tasked with building the Italian national team over the next two years as it prepares for its first world championship event.
