Director Vicki Vasilopoulos will be premiering her long-awaited film, “Men of the Cloth.” The film will be premiering at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA, on Thursday, December 10,2015. Vasilopoulos will be hosting a Q & A alongside local tailor Joe Caulautti of Rizzo Tailor in Harvard Square. The film has been 10 years in the making and has received a positive response from the Italian-American community. MFA Boston Unveils Piero della Francesca Masterpiece ‘Senigallia Madonna’

On Sept. 13, Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts unveiled a single-work exhibition showcasing the rare Renaissance painting Senigallia Madonna, by Italian master Piero della Francesca. On loan from Italy, the work will be on view in the United States for the first time. Stolen in 1975, the tempera and oil on panel painting was recovered the following year by the Carabinieri Department for the Protection of Cultural Heritage (known as the Carabinieri Art Squad) — a branch of the Italian military police charged with combating theft, looting and illicit trade in works of art. Bostoniano Receives 2013 Achievement Award

Nicola Orichuia receives Achievement Award from Consul General Giuseppe Pastorelli.

The Consulate General of Italy’s third annual “Achievement Awards” ceremony took place at the Museum of Fine Arts on Thursday, May 2. Bostoniano founder Nicola Orichuia received the “Giovane Promessa” (Promising Youth) award for his work on Bostoniano.info (launched in January 2011) and Bostoniano magazine (launched in January 2013). Several other awards were given out at the ceremony that took place in the exhibit space currently hosting masterpiece drawings from Michelangelo Buonarroti. Juno, Largest Roman-Era Statue in North America, Arrives at MFA
